Private Classes
These classes are for over 3 year olds and run on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Methody. This is split into beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate and advanced. Beginners are swimmers who cannot yet swim unaided and require floats or teacher assistance to swim. Advanced beginners are swimmers with a little more confidence who can confidently submerge their face in the water and can swim less than a width (10m) without aids or support and intermediate swimmers are pupils who will continue to develop their Frontcrawl and Backcrawl whilst introducing Breaststroke and Butterfly. Advanced swimmers will continue to perfect their strokes whilst building stamina. Our aim is for all pupils to be water confident and be able to save themselves if they ever got into difficulty in water. All our beginner classes have a maximum of 3 pupils per class and intermediate a maximum of 4 pupils per class maximising their time spent with their teacher.
